It has been a while since my last update, but I'm back and more excited than ever! I must admit, I haven't been the best at keeping the blog section of this site up to date. Over the holiday break between semesters, I took the opportunity to refresh and revamp everything. With the new year comes new beginnings, and I knew it was time for a change! Redesigning the site became a top priority, and I added content from my old personal website, which has been serving as my "enhanced" CV. I'm thrilled to announce the addition of new sections for teaching materials and resource recommendations, along with more detailed insights about my work as a part-time faculty member at a rural regional campus of a large university. Stay tuned for more!
We kicked off the spring semester at the college this week with excitement! I've shared before how a classroom environment can supercharge learning. Last semester, I managed to snag a different computer lab and absolutely adored the large windows that flood the room with natural light. I loved it so much that I just had to request the same room again for my back-to-back classes. Plus, I must confess, I enjoy watching students make their way to class from the parking lot—it adds a lively touch to my day!
Guess what? I'm thrilled to announce that the website has been revamped with tons of exciting new resources, including syllabi and sample assignments! Plus, I've made all the videos on my YouTube Channel public, and I'm eager to create more content to support adjuncts like myself soon, once I hit my stride for the spring semester.
Here's to an amazing semester! Be sure to check back often for more updates!
